Postkarte von Klara May an Emil Wilde, 22. September 1910
Good afternoon, I recently came across your website and have an item you may be interested to see. I collect ocean liner memorabilia and recently acquired a postcard that depicts Karl May and his wife traveling on the Kronprincessin Cecilie. It was posted from Radebule Germany in 1910 and mailed to a person in Lawrence, Massachusetts and the message in German looks like it was written and signed by May. I have read on the internet that May traveled to North America in 1908 and one of the places he visited was Lawrence, Mass. I have attached scans of the front and back of the card.
