I have indeed heard of the famous German author whose name I bear (or share); I understand he wrote novels about the American west, which he had never seen.
This "edition" of Karl May is a securities lawyer in Cleveland, Ohio, and the fact that I have the same name is sheer coincidence; I am of English descent (both sides) and am dead certain that neither of my parents were aware of the "other" Karl May.
There may be another coincidence; however, as I, too, am a writer. My first novel, a love story entitled "When Autumn Comes" is in the hands of a literary agent who is just beginning to search for a publisher. So, perhaps, this will one day add to the confusion!
Regards.
